Speaker: Natalie Roe (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)) Date: Wed May 02, 2001, 4.30 pm Location: Wean 7316 Title: Recent Results from BaBar: CP Violation and Mixing Abstract: Following the spectacular turn-on of both the SLAC and KEK B factories during the past year, first results from BaBar and Belle on CP violation have recently been published. I will review the analysis of time-dependent CP violating asymmetries in BaBar together with the closely related mixing measurement, and discuss future prospects.
