Tue. Oct 28, 2003: The Latest Results from the SNO Solar Neutrino Experiment
Wean 8427; 4:30 PM
Eugene Beier, Univ. of Pennsylvania
Abstract:
The SNO experiment measures both the electron neutrino flux
and the flux of all types of neutrinos from the sun.
Thus it can confirm the solar calculations and the presence
of neutrino oscillations. The latest results in which salt
is dissolved in the heavy water to detect neutrons
will be presented.
